Our in-house team of designers will take the time to get to know you, your personality, your lifestyle requirements and everything you want and need from your home. Together we can create plans and designs that perfectly match the vision you have for your new residential construction.

  • How long does the average home construction take?

    This is not a question where there is a generic answer, and we cannot provide a timeframe without having detailed plans and contractors booked in. However, our team will work with your budget and provide a final deadline in your contract that will outline the precise construction timeline. We have a proud reputation of sticking to all deadlines, outside of unavoidable circumstances like long periods of inclement weather.

  • Can I use my own contractors and tradespeople for elements of the build?

    BLD Constructions has a strong network of local builders, contractors and tradies that have already been vetted and will work to create a home construction to the highest of standards. In saying that, if you have a favoured tradesperson or contractor that you would prefer to be part of the project, we can be flexible. It is essential that this contractor is properly licensed and insured for the benefit of all parties.

  • What happens if I want to make changes after construction has commenced?

    We are flexible and understand there may be some last-minute inclusions or exclusions. We want your home to be perfect for your requirements and will always endeavour to be flexible where possible. As long as the changes do not drastically change the structural integrity and won't extend the time of the construction project, then we can accommodate them in most instances. Bear in mind these changes may potentially impact the overall cost if additional materials and labour are required.

  • Am I allowed to inspect the job while it is in progress

    Absolutely, we understand the thrill of seeing your dream home come to life and we want you to be part of the process. Just bear in mind there are safety requirements and you can't just pop in at any time. We will arrange site inspections so you will have the required PPE and will be accompanied by a qualified representative. All workers will be aware you are on-premises so the experience will be 100 per cent safe and enjoyable.
